Yimengshan UNESCO Global Geopark sent an official delegation to the 9th Asia‑Pacific Geoparks Network (APGN) Symposium held in Langkawi, Malaysia. Hosted under the theme Connecting Geoparks, Inspiring Sustainable Future, the event gathered more than 590 geoscience experts and geopark representatives from 22 countries and regions.
Yimengshan representatives attended full conference sessions, held thematic talks with senior officials of the Global Geoparks Network (GGN) and UNESCO evaluators, and gave an on-site presentation showcasing its unique Daigu landform and geo-heritage values.

The delegation conducted special consultations with host Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark. The two sides exchanged souvenirs and promotional materials, and agreed to set up regular communication channels for practical cooperation in geo-heritage protection, science popularization and geotourism.
