Accessible Science Popularization Activity Held at Mengyin Shan'ai Special‑Education School

Recently, science outreach staff from Linyi Yimengshan Global Geopark Administration visited Mengyin Shan'ai Special-Education School and launched a science-popularization campaign themed Touch Yimengshan, Discover the Secrets of Nature — Geopark Science Goes to Shan'ai Special-Education Campus.

Following the special-education principles of participation, experience and joy, the activity avoided obscure professional theories. It adopted a multi-sensory science-popularization approach featuring observation, touching, drawing and hands-on practice. Special-needs children got up-close access to geological features, local plants and insect knowledge of their hometown Yimengshan, receiving warmth and inspiration through science education.
