Yimengshan UGGp to Undergo Revalidation by UNESCO

Yimengshan UNESCO Global Geopark will receive a revalidation by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on June 26.

UNESCO conducts revalidations of Global Geoparks every four years, which serves as a crucial mechanism for the dynamic supervision of all Global Geoparks worldwide. At present, Yimengshan UGGp has completed all preparatory work including the conservation of geoheritages and the upgrading of infrastructure. It is making every effort to ensure the smooth progress of this revalidation, continuously burnish its world-class brand and boost local economic development.
