Yimengshan UNESCO Global Geopark Launches Geological Science Popularization Activities in Community

Recently, Yimengshan UNESCO Global Geopark carried out a science popularization activity in Datianzhuang Community, Feixian County. Staff screened geological science videos to share knowledge of geology and ecological protection, donated popular science books and distributed promotional leaflets for local residents.

The event popularized geological knowledge and raised residents’ awareness of geological heritage protection. The geopark will continue to hold grassroots science promotion activities in the future.
