Pingyi Embroidery, a county-level intangible cultural heritage, is originated from the ritual garments used in sacrifices to Mengshan during the Zhou Dynasty at the State of Zhuanyu. As a specialized embroidery technique for religious ceremonies, it gradually transitioned into daily applications—adorning clothing (robes, hats, shirts, shoes) and household items (quilt covers, pillowcases, door curtains)—marking an evolution from sacred ritual objects to practical art forms.
