Science popularization into Bailin Town Junior High School

On September 13, Linyi Yimengshan Global Geopark Administration organized staff to go to Bailin Town Junior High School in Pingyi County to carry out a lecture on Mengshan geological knowledge, about 320 junior high school students participating in this activity.

The popular science lecture is entitled "Mengshan Growth Log" and is divided into four parts. The first part introduces the history of geological development before the birth of Mengshan. The second part tells the process of the formation of the main rock of Mengshan, the third part tells the history of the alternation of sea and land since the Paleozoic Era, and the last part is the process of the continuous uplift of the rock mass of Mengshan which finally became the second highest peak in Shandong Province.

The lecture, given mainly by pictures, with audios and videos assisted, used understandable explanation and more interaction with the students, not only effectively mobilizing the interest of the students, but playing a better role in popularizing knowledge.
