Since the beginning of this year, Yimengshan Global Geopark Administration has played the role of popular science education, and in-depth guidance has been given to the museums and exhibition halls in each park to carry out scientific and standardized research activities in geoscience, culture, nature and other fields. By setting off the "research fever" of Mengshan, the research courses, research routes and basic research results in recent years have been transformed into a new force to activate Mengshan tourism, inject new vitality into the development of the tourism economy in the park, and further enhance the influence of Yimeng Mountain's science popularization research.
▲Yimengshan Global Geopark Museum: On August 2, the research team of Linyi Guardian Children's Ability Training Center, surrounding middle schools and summer camps carried out popular science practice activities.
▲Yunmeng Exhibition Hall: A research tour group from the Development Center of Jinan Education Bureau paid a visit on August 4.
▲Diamond Museum: Ludong University started physical geography comprehensive internship in June.
▲Daigu Park Museum: Ocean University of China - Geology Classroom opened in July.
Up to now, the exhibition halls of Yimengshan Global Geopark have received more than 62,000 tourists (times) of various types such as public welfare research and research tour groups, and the "research fever" has become a strong force in Yimengshan tourism. Yimengshan Global Geopark will continue to make efforts in basic research and transformation of achievements, give full play to the functions of scientific research and popularization, publicity and education, and promote the development of the surrounding tourism economy.
