Yimengshan Global Geopark Administration Has Taken Multiple Measures to Strengthen the Protection of Geological Relics Resources in Daigu Park

As one of the five major parks of Yimengshan Global Geopark, Daigu Park has world-class contrasting significance in geological section relics, rock relics and geomorphological landscape relics. In order to protect these precious geological and geomorphological resources, Yimengshan Global Geopark Administration actively applied for the Yimengshan Ecological and Geological Environment Monitoring and Protection Project, and carried out special protection for 7 geological relics in the park, including the Precambrian and Cambrian. Through the installation of fences, interpretation boards, planting green isolation belts, electronic monitoring equipment, and building water interception walls, the protection level of the geological relics and the surrounding environment of Daigu Park have been further improved.

In the next step, Yimengshan Global Geopark Administration will continue to maintain the relevant equipment of the Yimengshan Ecological Geological Environment Monitoring and Protection Project, and continuously increase the protection inspection, publicity and research of Daigu Park, so as to add strength to the protection and development of the Park.
