Billion-year-old geological relics show unique charm

Participants of the seminar on the construction and development of the Global Geopark went on a field trip to Menglianggu Park, Yunmeng Scenic Area and Daigu Park of the UNESCO Global Geopark of Yimeng Mountain on April 28.

The theme of the event is "Go into Yimeng Mountain Global Geopark and Appreciate the Charm of Yimeng Mountain's Million Years of Geology". With the vision of "Global famous geological mountain and national ecological model", the event aims to create the "Three Heights and One Spot" which means building up a highland for ecological civilization practice, a highland for rural revitalization of Yimeng, a highland for red culture inheritance, and a high-quality tourist destination.

The activity combines the requirements of the UNESCO Global Geopark to fully promote the formation of a new pattern of protection and development of Mengshan Mountain, continuously expand the reputation and popularity of Yimeng Mountain, and greet CPC's 100th founding anniversary with a brand-new look.
