Yimengshan Global Geopark carries out science promotion and volunteer activities

In order to further enrich the festive atmosphere and continue to meet the growing cultural and life needs of the people, on February 20, 2021, Wang Jian, deputy director of the Yimeng Mountain Global Geopark Administration, led volunteers from the scientific research work group to the Yimeng Mountain Guimeng Scenic Square Carry out popular science publicity activities and voluntary service activities.

During the activity, the volunteers distributed free folders of Yimengshan Global Geopark, "Yimengshan UNESCO Global Geopark Publicity Manual" and "Yimengshan UNESCO Global Geopark Guide Manual" to the visitors and the public, widely promoting the scientific knowledge of the development of the Global Geopark, geological features and geological relics. At the same time, the volunteers also enthusiastically explained in detail the cultural knowledge of Yimeng style and Yimeng spirit of Yimengshan Global Geopark to the visitors who came to consult with them, so that the majority of visitors really felt the beautiful scenery of the Global Geopark and the style of the leisure tourist destination.
